Originally created as a project for a Museum installation which takes Rossetti’s Victorian painting “Venus Verticordia” (The Changer of the Heart) as a starting point, the piece has evolved and transformed into what is now an audiovisual short story, a 3D postcard.

In “Changer of the Heart”, writer/singer Véronique ‘Orange’ Joly, guitarist Rob Palmer and photographer Patricia Curtis combine shimmering “soundscapes” with song, spoken text and photography to take us on a journey of discovery: from cityscapes to inscapes, from closed-in spaces to open pathways, we travel off-frame, re-visiting a mythical place where everything has been kept intact. Here, where past meets present, the female character’s goddess-like beauty is revealed in an interplay of words, sounds and multi-layered images, which unmask the beauty of Creation.
