“Wondrous things happen in gardens. Gardens have
long fed the imagination and their landscapes are abundant with meaning.”
(Sophie Biriotti in Gardens of the Imagination, A Literary Anthology, Chronicle Books, San Francisco, 1999)
Orange Gardens invite you to explore colourful, rich and fertile lands cultivated by a group of artists under the name L'ORANGE. Here, all art forms are inter-related, the branches of one tree. The writers, singers, composers, choreographers, musicians, directors and filmmakers from L'ORANGE aim at:
- promoting new interactive collaborations between artists and art forms mainly around literary themes and figures.
- exploring their European cultural heritage through the interplay between text, film and music.
- creating imaginary universes where past meets present, allowing us to examine our perception and our relationship to works of art.
